Its nice to have someone to talk to and gain knowledge from, if you are volunteering to either water or harvest. We ultimately need to understand that modern nutrition isn’t all that great. Most of the nutritional value is lost in transit and within 3 days 60%+ of some fruits and vegetables nutrients are lost. It’s a rotational seeding project. Volunteers based on time constraints and what they can do can participate for lower cost healthier food. My hope is the agricultural industry shifts to rice and exportable goods and we eat mostly what we grow ourselves.
